The Vasilian College or Vasilian Academy ((ルーマニア語、モルドバ語():Academia Vasiliană)) was an institution of higher learning in the Principality of Moldavia, founded by Prince Vasile Lupu in 1640. Located in Iaşi, capital of the Principality of Moldavia, it functioned on the model of the Mohyla Academy in Kiev, from where some of the professors came, as a "higher school for Latin and Slavonic languages".〔(History of Education ) at study-in-romania.ro〕 It was disestablished some time after the end of Lupu's reign (1653). The Academia Vasiliană was the first institute of higher education that functioned on the territory of Romania and it was symbolically continued by the Princely Academy of Iași. ==See also== * The Princely Academy * Academia Mihăileană * Alexandru Ioan Cuza University 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Vasilian College」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
